Ukrainian delegation visits HEET

In a significant step towards a greener future, HEET recently hosted a delegation from Ukraine. The delegation, comprising mayors, regulators, utility executives, and policymakers, visited Boston to explore the potential of geothermal networks as a sustainable solution for rebuilding their war-torn infrastructure.

The delegation toured Boston City Hall, engaged in discussions with Commissioner James Van Nostrand, and visited Boston University's state-of-the-art geothermal system and the Framingham geothermal project. By sharing knowledge and expertise, HEET aims to empower Ukraine to rebuild its infrastructure sustainably, reducing reliance on fossil fuels and mitigating the impacts of climate change.
