Design Considerations for Expanding Geothermal Networks Beyond the First Loop

This study is of the “Flagg Loop” expansion project that adds a second ambient loop to Eversource’s Framingham geothermal network. It provides an initial framework for how GEN systems can be expanded beyond the initial installation, establishing guidelines to inform future projects and accelerate the growth of the industry.
