HEET is thrilled to welcome our new Community Outreach Intern, Sara Lowery! Sara is a graduate of Sewanee: The University of the South and has a degree in International and Global Studies. She has recently relocated to Boston from Hong Kong, where she was working at an NGO focused on aiding migrant workers. She will be working at HEET for the next ten months through a partnership with the Life Together Fellowship of the Episcopal Service Corps. Her primary focus will be in social media communications, the Help for Hogs program, the Race to Solar program, and outreach with local businesses.
HEET is also saying goodbye to intern Mackenzie Doss. Mackenzie has contributed significantly to the Race to Solar program by training volunteers and preparing and running canvasses in Boston and Cambridge as well as managing HEET’s community outreach activities. She will be moving on to work with the GAO as an Entry Analyst in their Professional Development Program. We are enormously grateful to have worked with such talented interns, and we wish them the best of luck in their endeavors! For more information about our current team, please visit our staff page.
